Aspire to Inspire is youth developement organization formed to encourage partnerships with businesses and educational institutions obsessed with finding solutions to the challenges that Hispanic youth face to graduate High School and create initiatives that will increase the number of Hispanic students attending and completing college.

 

  

The Aspire to Inspire program was launched as an ALPFA Cares Initiative, part of ALPFA – the Nation’s oldest and largest Hispanic leadership and professional development 501(c)3 organization.

On May 9, 2014 we launched the inaugural Hispanic Youth Leadership in Education Summit in Sea World, Orlando, Florida which convened hundreds of high school students from Central Florida Public Schools, tech-entrepreneurs, government, educators, leading experts, as well as the private and public sector to discuss the economic value of innovation in a global economy and share best practices for energizing central Florida’s minority youth. 

 

 

  

  

As community leaders, we have been engaging central Florida’s minority youth, business leaders, and stakeholders about the importance of investing in Florida’s Hispanic students and incentivizing the next generation of minority talent.

 

As the Hispanic population continues to grow, now more than ever, it is of paramount importance that we continue to advance and improve the opportunities and outcomes of the Hispanic youth. 

 

Economic prosperity and the health of our State and even our nation’s economy is dependent on a highly skilled workforce that fosters technology, innovation, and competition and Hispanics are a lagging in access to help them be succesful in this competitive economy.

 

We are interested in leveraging partnerships with role models, community leaders, businesses and educational institutions that can help prepare students and INSPIRE them to succeed in the 21st century global economy. 

We invite you to join us in this community effort to build ladders of opportunity for our future leaders to flourish. This is the reason why we created “Aspire to Inspire” because we saw the huge need for our current leaders to Inspire the next generation of leaders. It is with Your support that we will be successful in creating more mentorship opportunities for our youth.

 

As such, we believe that bringing an anual Youth Leadership in Education Summit targeted for Hispanic high school students that will help INCENTIVIZE the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs.

 

We want to include influentials that will give a VOICE to our youth and share their experience in achieving success and how our Hispanic youth are vital  to a global economic prosperity.
